All of our RECORE sunglasses are produced in high resistance recycled polycarbonate (RPET), an ultra-lightweight material that is extremely tough and offers a unique look. Using only recycled materials e.g. plastic bottles allow us to reduce contamination and reduce the waste produced in our factories.

CR-39 POLARISED LENSES

Gul RECORE sunglasses are outfitted with CR-39 Polarised Lenses for perfect eye protection, optical quality and timeless style. CR-39 is an organic material that is almost entirely opaque in the ultraviolet range, and transparent in the visible spectrum. Gul’s optics CR-39 lenses have a scratch resistant coating making them the superior material for sunglass lenses. CR-39 lenses provide 100% UVA / UVB protection. They are also resistant to gamma radiation, material fatigue, ageing and most chemicals. Gul’s CR-39 Polarised lenses reduce glare from the ocean surface, road glare and other reflective surfaces ensuring clear vision on and off water.

They provide total UV400 protection against the sun’s UV radiation and are polarised, which makes them perfect for outdoor activities, especially when on the snow or water.

SUSTAINABLE PACKAGING

Each pair of Gul RECORE sunglasses comes stored in a reusable BPA Free drinking bottle, making it easier to refill anywhere, and helps to reduce single use plastic. Inside is a recycled RPET lightweight microfibre pouch with a matching microfibre cloth to help protect and clean your sunglasses.

Finished with an additional leash cord, attached to the lid for any unexpected emergencies before or during a session in the water.
